Accessibility Statement

The service

This website provides information about the hotel and its offers and allows you to book and pay for a room. The process is always the same: you choose your arrival and departure dates and the number of guests, see the available offers and rooms, add extras if you wish, enter your contact details and complete the booking with payment. You then receive a confirmation by email. All content and every step of the booking are available in seven languages and in a light and a dark appearance. The operator responsible for this website is named in the imprint.

Compliance status

We strive to make this website accessible in line with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG). The applicable requirements are those of EN 301 549, which refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA. The website is partially compliant with these requirements; the deviations are listed below.

What has already been implemented

• All pages and the entire booking process, including the payment step and confirmation, can be operated using the keyboard. The focus remains visible at all times, and error messages and progress are announced.
• Every control carries a meaningful name for screen readers — including those that show only an icon.
• The interface colours meet the required contrast ratios – including text placed over photos and videos. The website is available in a light and a dark appearance.
• A skip link at the top of each page leads directly to the main content, bypassing the navigation.
• Videos and automatically changing content can be paused with a dedicated button; decorative animations stop after a few seconds. If “reduce motion” is set in the operating system, they do not start at all.
• Forms name every field, mark required entries and report errors as text rather than by colour alone.
• Images have alternative texts in the language of the page; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• The layout has been tested at a width of 320 pixels (equivalent to 400% zoom) and with increased line, letter and paragraph spacing: content reflows instead of being cut off.
• Notes on travel dates that cannot be booked and all messages in the booking process appear in the language of the page.

Non-accessible content

The following content is not yet fully accessible, for the reasons given:

• Embedded third-party content – the map service and our payment provider’s field for entering payment details – follows the accessibility level of the respective provider. We have tested the payment field with the keyboard; the location and nearby places are also described as text.
• Documents offered for download (PDF), such as menus and price lists, are not yet consistently prepared in an accessible form. On request, we will gladly send you their content in an accessible format.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was last updated on October 16, 2026. It is based on a self-assessment: a structured review of the source code, an automated evaluation of the accessibility tree across all page types, manual keyboard testing including the payment step, and measurements at a width of 320 pixels and with increased text spacing. No third-party audit has been carried out.

Enforcement procedure
